As a faux queen, Miss Trixxie Carr performs solo or with dancers either lip-syncing or singing live in a mix of comedy-burlesque-performance art. Obsessed with existentialist despair yet a hopeless optimist, trixxie is never afraid to look at the subtext of our words and actions on an intimate and global level, and she attacks with wit and satire the phallacies of blind belief, while still embracing emotion and romanticism, using imagery and metaphor to connect her ideas and reach out to her audiences.  trixxiecarr.com
